Four infrared observation systems soon available to the Police
Presidium of the sensitive sites, patrolling the territory and ordinary criminal police activities: these the areas where the recent delivery of A.ST.I.M. will find application and it is awarded towards the Operations Center of the Department of Public Safety of the City of Rome.
It will, therefore, the Police of the Capital to use the four infrared observation systems and the annexed binoculars representing an upgrade of the internal supply of the Corps. Already this spring the equipment will be made available to the policemen, who opted for equipment characterized by special lenses for night vision with long range view, capable of returning high-precision images, to patrol accurately streets and neighborhoods.
The choice of last generation and high sensitive equipment, yet easy to use, will prove to be a useful resource for both the ordinary activities regarding city control and crime prevention and all sort of illegality, and in support of emergency management, in close connection with the active vehicles in the territory.
The Ministry of the Interior, who in the past has chosen the company for their own equipment and services, will be able to count on support from A.ST.IM professionals, both for daily use of the equipment, and for any interventions for best field applications.
